Our Partial Interior Design service gives you expert-level design and exclusive product sourcing while you manage day-to-day execution. This allows you to focus your investment on beautiful furnishings and finishes, rather than project management or construction administration hours. It’s ideal for renovations or refreshes that don’t involve major construction. If contract work is required, we’ll provide architectural details, finish selections and all documentation needed for your preferred vendors and installers.

We design homes nationwide. While our studios are located in Washington DC, Dallas and Sarasota, we work with clients all across the United States.

All Partial Interior Design projects begin with a virtual 3D walkthrough of your space, allowing us to understand your space remotely. Final installations are also coordinated virtually, but in-person visits (including install day or other check-ins) can be arranged for an additional fee. For local clients, the Cassaïa team offers key on-site visits and final delivery.

Partial Interior Design is wonderful for residential renovations and new-builds, Airbnb vacation rentals, commercial and hospitality refresh projects where the owner can be fully hands-on.

This service is best suited for clients who are comfortable overseeing their own project timeline, vendors, and installations—and who don’t require major structural changes. Projects typically include at least one full room, but most involve multiple spaces. We do not offer design for partially completed rooms or final styling alone.

If you're looking for a more hands-off experience, our Full-Service Interior Design will certainly be a better fit.

The minimum investment for Partial Interior Design is $50,000. This amount covers furnishings but does not include our minimal design fee and third-party costs such as:

- Measuring services (Canvas or Matterport)

- Taxes, freight, packaging, customs, storage, or delivery

- Construction materials and architectural finishes (millwork, appliances, finish materials, or architectural solutions)

- Contractor or trade labor

We provide you with everything needed to bring our signature Cassaïa Studio aesthetic into your home—on your timeline, with your personal touch.

To keep our design fee low for this design service, we do not pass down trade discounts. All items are priced at list price/recommended retail price, or with a minimum margin for all procurement. All purchasing efforts are required by Cassaïa for Partial Interior Design.

Our Partial Interior Design process mirrors our Full-Service approach—minus project management and construction administration.

Full-Service Interior Design is a white-glove experience where our team manages every aspect of your project—from the full design of your space to coordinating contractors, procurement and overseeing all installations. We’re involved at every step, including site visits, vendor meetings, and final staging.

In contrast, Partial Interior Design empowers you to take the lead. You’ll oversee contractors, installations, and pre-furniture work (like paint, lighting, and window treatments). We provide design guidance and detailed instructions to support your role. For local clients, we manage the final furniture installation; for remote clients, we coordinate it virtually or offer site visits for an additional fee.

Additionally, our Full-Service projects often include bespoke, custom or artisan-made furnishings, while Partial Interior Design blends retail and custom selections for a more flexible price point.

Absolutely—we love designing around meaningful pieces. We’ll thoughtfully integrate them into your new design. However, we don’t offer styling services for rooms that are already mostly furnished or require only finishing touches.
